Four exclusive homes, circa. £2.5m were positioned to benefit from stunning, tranquil views over the renowned Lichfield Spires and Derbyshire Dales.
This traditional rural farmyard courtyard setting reflects the heritage of the Hillwood site, whilst elegant, open plan living is fully tuned in to today’s lifestyle.
Champion Homes were challenged with building these tasteful dwellings with least impact on the openness of the setting. These cutting-edge yet elegant designs evolved.
Beautiful Basements approached Hills Concrete for assistance with the challenging complexity of 100m3 of Triton Waterproofed concrete for basement retaining walls for each of its four properties. Challenges focused around both product quality and consistency of logistics when placing the waterproofed concrete to ensure continuity. Hills concrete portfolio of products includes waterproofed concrete powder, however on this particular project the client wished to purchase the Triton waterproofed powder directly for additional cost savings and requested that Hills Concrete included the admixture as part of the batching sequence.
Hills concrete supported with plant quality control and onsite testing combined with coordination with McPhillips’ concrete pumping.
Previous successful supplies of concrete specifically for the basement rafts at the Hillwood Development convinced beautiful basements that Hills Concrete would be a suitable business partner for this stage of the development.
