Foam Concrete
About this Product
Hills Concrete’s low-density foam concrete incorporating up to 80% air is designed specifically for void fill, stabilisation and other lightweight applications. It is, in general, self-levelling, self-compacting and highly insulating and may be pumped. Risk of plastic shrinkage or settlement cracking is significantly lower than that of standard concretes. Foam concrete can be mixed and pumped on-site to any location, or mixed prior to delivery. It is available in a wide range of densities and compressive strengths to suit your own requirements. It is also easily laid with no compaction needed.
Suitable applications for Foam Concrete
- Filling unwanted voids such as -sinkholes, pipelines, mine shafts and service ducts,
- Filling disused structures such as -Fuel tanks, subways, cellars, basements and sewer lines.
- Structural stabilisation such as- Embankments and tunnel stabilisation.
- Foam concrete Is recognised as the approved product for the reinstatement of road trenches.
